Apple has released the MacBook Neo at a price of $599, which was its biggest move in the low-cost laptop market. The company aims to compete with Windows PCs and Chromebooks in the budget segment.
This laptop is $400 cheaper than any other next-generation laptop Apple has ever sold, and is significantly inferior to the current $1,099 MacBook Air. The MacBook Neo will be offered in 4 colors - citrus, silver, indigo and pink.
