The ministry of commerce of China warned about new risk for a global supply chain of semiconductors against the background of escalation of the conflict between the Dutch producer of Nexperia chips and its Chinese "subsidiary".
Tension amplified after the Netherlands confiscated the plant of the Chinese holding Wingtech that already led earlier to failures in automotive industry because of temporary embargo of Beijing on export of the Chinese Nexperia chips.
Though the deficiency of chips was temporarily removed after diplomatic negotiations, the dispute between the Dutch headquarters of Nexperia supporting discharge of Wingtech and the Chinese division demanding to return management of parent company, only amplifies.
